Sir Umphrey Bogus "Umpie" Bryant5/8/14-3/11/26

From Daddy: We watched your face go from dark and shiny to grey and white, your eyes from clear and bright to cloudy and dull and your stubby short legs from strong and steady to weak and wobbly. But, you still welcomed us home with howls, barks and komodo dragon kisses of genuine happiness even after being gone for minutes. Now your recliner and front window bed only hold happy memories and are reminders of our wonderful sweet 'baby basset!' We will miss you so much Mr. Ump!!

From Brother:  Umpie was the sweetest and most loving little dog. He always had a way of making you laugh and feel good. He loved to be 'baby basset' with Brudder and nibble some beard while being held. I will miss you, buddy, more than I can stand. Take care of Pood now that you're together again. Love you, Misser Umpies!

From Sister:  Umpie was always meant for our family. No other family would have accepted his personality like we did. He was just Umpie, and we loved him for it. Umpie and I didn't go for walks, we went for 'sniffs' where we would go to the field by the river so he could take his timr and smell everything he needed to smell. He loved ZippyPaws burrow toys and made their IG once because he had so many! He would also 'do a trick' where he would stand on his back legs and then get a treat. We'd have to tell him 'no more tricks, Umpie' because he would keep trying to get more treats. He was always in the same recliner and it was just known you didn't sit there because that was 'Umpie's' chair. Even now, it doesn't seem right to sit in it. I will miss him forever. I'm so sorry I wasn't there.

From Mama:  My sweet Umpie. I will miss our coffee mornings, our eye booger and kisses, my feet warmer, those sweet drooly kisses, the picture poses, Christmas morning bags, the animal crackers, that sweet belly....just to mention a few. I just miss you Umpie. Thank you for years of love and laughs. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Glad you and Pood are together again. Love you Umpie.
