Silver "The Boog" Lively came into our lives in December 2005 and unexpectedly passed away on May 3, 2021 . We are so grateful that we rescued her in 2005, but in reality, she rescued us. She was the sweetest little monster that we could have ever asked for. The bond she had with her family is one that could never be broken. However, her human she loved more than anyone was her Daddy. She would wake him up for work every morning at 4:00, even after he retired. She would wait for him at the door when he would come home from work. Then she would follow him through the house and watch "their shows" together every single night without fail. She was an intelligent and loving cat that was unlike any other. The Boog could do tricks, get your attention at the drop of a hat, and would tell you what she wanted in her own way of communicating. She brought so much joy into our lives.  While 17 years seems like a long time, it was not enough with her. Silver was such an amazing, faithful, loyal friend and companion, she will forever be missed. She was the light of our lives, her Mommy's little Boog, and Daddy's little monster.  A piece of us is empty without her here now, but we are so glad we have the memories of her to cherish. We love you Boogie. Thank you for the paw prints you left on our hearts.

You lived your nine lives here with me

my loyal, loving friend.

Then God took you up to Paradise

To live life number ten.

I'll bet you're peacefully lying

Upon an angel's lap.

Purring there, without a care

Having a heavenly nap.

I'll miss you for a little while,
