RAVEN
May 1, 2005 - April 23, 2020
Raven left this world behind today with the arms and heart of her family surrounding her with love and gentle touches. Her suffering has ended.
15 years ago, this beauty was rescued from entering the humane society when one of her owners stopped to look around. Upon leaving, she and her brother were spotted in the palm of someone's hand about to turn the tiny pups over to the shelter. But that was not to be part of her story for on that day in June, Raven got her forever home.
Our girl was high spirited, full of energy and Alpha of her domain.
In her younger years, she guarded our yard. Upon arriving home, she would greet the family at the gate and then mad dash off to run the fence line and return to make eye contact to ensure she was noticed attending to her duties.
She enjoyed hunting and made sure her territory was free of small critters. Not even turtles could pass through in peace. She could often be seen laying in the grass just waiting to pounce, if one dare to test her skills.
She was proceeded in death by Coco the 6lb Chihuahua who welcomed her into our home when she and her brother first arrived.
She will be missed by her litter mate Crow and her Groomer Dapper, along with her human family Lisa, Michael, Terry, and Chrissy. Our love goes with you and our home will not be the same without you.
