In Loving memory of Lucy "LuLu" Watson. She was adopted from Cleveland Animal Control on October 19, 2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge on February 11, 2026. She was 9 almost 10 years old following a battle with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). She was the sweetest and most loving dog you could ever meet and wouldn't hurt a fly. She was the definition of a gentle giant. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She always welcomed every new rescue Mom would bring home, including the cat. She had a smile on her face the moment you opened the door and wagged her tail every time you would say her name. This big girl loved to eat, especially Oatmeal Creme pies, the giant Christmas tree cakes, and Perkits frozen yogurt. For a big 200 lb girl, she still loved playing and running around with her brothers and sisters and greeting every delivery driver that pulled in the driveway. Lucy would say that I, her mom, rescued her from the shelter, but the truth is Lucy rescued me. I will miss that big smile and wrapping my arms around her big neck and kissing her on the cheek and nose. I will miss those mornings sitting on my front porch with her drinking coffee as everyone who drives by honks and waves at her. Lucy could make anyone smile even on their worst day. Your siblings Harle, Bowie, Layla, Whiskey, Shep and Peanut will miss you dearly. As you cross that rainbow bridge, I hope you run, play, and eat all the things you love as you are pain and cancer free. Fly high sweet girl, as I will meet you again. Momma loves you Lucy LuLu!
