My sweet, sweet beagle boy. No amount of time with you would have ever been enough. The greatest Halloween treat to ever come our way and the most joyous face - always up for cozy blankets, snacks, snuggles and waking with a smile every morning.

The way you loved and investigated every person and fellow pup who waltzed into your journey was the sweetest thing to witness. You taught me so beautifully how to slow down.  How to love fiercely. To investigate and be curious about the smallest of things. You taught me how impatient I can be and how unnecessary the impatience is-because life is for adventures, fun, and coziness and none of that should ever be rushed.

Always dramatic, always loud, fiercely loyal, and the sweetest, most loving soul. Tripp will be unbearably quiet without your silliness, snoring, and howling with happiness at your friends and family. I am so thankful we spent your last week at the beach with all your favorite people surrounding you with extra treats and beach walks before you left. I'll love you forever, Lukey. You've been the best boy in the world, Lucas Scott.
