"Lola Jean, you were rescued from the Knoxville Humane Society 14 years ago. I can still remember you sitting in the big adoption room looking around like a Queen waiting for her dinner. It's hard to believe all the chapters of our lives that you were in, always happy and always full of love. You were the matriarch of our pack of 5 and watching you age was so hard, especially when you started showing pain and losing your hearing and eyesight. We know you're completely healed with Jesus now and have GusGus and Bella with you again. I hope you told them, "the Boss is back in town" like I told you to. The house is emptier without you. We miss you, love you, and will never forget you.
