Obituary

Lily LouAnn Isenberg graced this earth with her beautiful spirit from March, 2012 to June 2022. She loved her family and her companion dog, Ginger. Lily loved to play frisbee, fetch, and chase cows and trains in her back yard.

She was preceded in death by her favorite treat dropper and grandparent, Terry Lee Davis. She was survived by her fur parents Curtis and Carol Isenberg, fur grandmother Mooie and uncle Rocky (canine), sister Ginger Juniper Isenberg (canine), brother Miles (feline), and fur brother Louis Isenberg. Special mention to those who were once a large part of her life and happiness: Diane Marrs and Clayton Marrs. She only had special connections with a few people in this life, but she loved them fiercely. She is dearly missed but will NEVER be forgotten. We love you always, Lily.

Special thanks to the Ark Pet Spa and Hotel of East Brainerd where Lily spent many days at doggy daycare and vacationing. We are still proud of her for achieving "Pet of the Month" in April, 2015 at the Ark.

Special thanks to Taylor Animal Hospital and Veterinarian Elizabeth Leduc for taking such wonderful care of our special girl.

Lily

Lily with velvet ears

Brown eyes

And a wet, pushy nose

I have watched

little you grow

I looked in your brown eyes

the first day we met

And I knew I would love you,

as our oxytocin said

I watched you play with your toys

as a pup

And I watched your first barks

and I fell in love

My Lily with velvet ears

Brown eyes

And a wet, pushy nose

Wiggly butt

and a toy each day at the door

Tell me my friend,

how could I ask for more ?

Frisbee addict

Your obsession in life

Your mama wonders

what she has done

As your teeth and bones

have become a little worn

Never want to hurt you

Want you to live and be free

Is this a mother's love for her child?

× 3?

My Lily with velvet ears

Brown eyes

And a wet, pushy nose

You can be a bit obtuse

You're overprotective

And sometimes won't move your damn caboose.

But I love all of your quirks,

Each and every one

Especially your stubbornness

It's my favorite,

And done.

My Lily with velvet ears

Brown eyes

And a wet, pushy nose

Life is fleeting

Tomorrow never guaranteed,

So I wanted to remember you

Always

Love, -Me.

Brown eyes

And a wet, pushy nose
