It is with a very sad heart that I share that Larry crossed the Rainbow Bridge last evening at age 13.
He was not just our "dog" but an amazing blessing from God who loved and loved and loved. He was a rock for us over the past 13 years in many ups and downs, tough times and stressful days in our own personal life.
For the community, Larry was known and loved by so many. He had an amazing life of reaching and touching lives in so many arenas. Most children know him, many teachers love him and many all throughout the community have been touched by the kind, unconditional loving soul of this sweet creature from God!
Our hearts are broken but we are comforted by the blessing to have had this amazing "pet" in our lives for so long.
For the past two years he was been back and forth with illness, but sweet Larry was not ready and never gave up!
Just two weeks ago, skinny and frail, with his t-shirt on, was "working" at Unity Center with the children. (attached picture).
The past few days he went down hill quickly and we would never let him suffer.
Addie and Daryl "knew" and kissed him goodbye as well. Mary Elizabeth gave him one last "check up"!
Please keep us all in your thoughts as we are sad and miss our fella!
Blessings
Amy, Wes and Mary Elizabeth
