Lacey
Fox
Oct 22, 2005 — Oct 19, 2020
Our sweet Lacey Fox was born 10-22-2005. Our family adopted her 6 months later. She was the best little Boston Terrier Girl. She was greatly loved by her Mamaw Fox who adopted her first and had her for her first 12 years and her new Mom and Dad Kris and Bill Fox. Lacey loved to get new toys and chase a laser light around the house.
Her Mamaw Fox got in bad health and had to go to a Nursing Home so her new Mom and Dad took her in.
She was their "Grouchy Old Lady" and Rocky Fox's Big Sister. She was the best big sister a Dachshund could ever have. She loved to stay around home and she was Kris's shadow. She took trips with them to the mountains and rode around in her buggy (she didn't care for her buggy or car rides) but she loved being with them. She got steak, chicken or hot dogs almost every night. And she went to Great Doggie Doo's and Goin To The Dogs for her baths Doggie Daycare about everyday. She was loved by one and all. She's been going to Great Doggie Doos since she was 6 months years old for her baths ,but when her new Mom and Dad got her she would go a lot more, all the kids said that she acted like a Mother to all of the other dogs. She would sit in the middle of the room and make sure they all behaved.
At Goin To The Dogs all the Ladies called her Sassy or Mrs Sas. It took her a little while to get to know the Ladies but she loved them everyone. At times they couldn't find her and she would sneak into her Brother's kennel and sleep with him. Kris would tell Rocky to watch out for his Sister and he would keep a check on her.
Lacey got in bad health and her Mom and Dad did the best they could for her. They would feed her on her steps because she had a hard time keeping food down and take her to the Doctor. But the Doctor said that her heart was enlarged and she had tumors in her lungs. On Saturday October 17th she started breathing hard and her Mom didn't feel good either so her parents stayed with her and her little brother all weekend. On Monday morning October 19th Lacey wouldn't eat and Kris knew that something was wrong (because that girl loved to eat). And she was breathing very hard. At 9:30 that morning Lacey took her last breath and died in her Mom Kris's arms knowing she was loved and would be missed. Lacey went over the Rainbow Bridge to join her big Brother Blacky Fox and big Sister Brandy Fox.
Written by her proud Mom Kris Fox with love always for Lacey Fox
