Indiana "Indy" Burdsal
March 7, 2008 - October 29, 2020

Indy came into the Burdsal family a little less than three months old. Three days after joining her new family in Memphis, she was diagnosed with parvovirus. She fought for a week at the doggie hospital and that set the tone for the rest of her life. She was a fighter in the best sense of the word.

Indy loved to take naps with her beloved grandpa and she missed him terribly after he passed. She would later move to Cleveland along her doggie momma. She was a constant companion, protector and best friend. Indy loved her two cat siblings even when they were being annoying. Her favorite activity in the world was going to the doggie park. She loved her treats and her red Kong toy. Her favorite place to sleep was her pink camo dog bed.

Indy went against the stereotype of a pit bull and showed that they can be kind and loving dogs. She fought hard against chronic kidney disease but on October 29 her body gave up even though her spirit never did. Indiana will be greatly missed.
