Heidi Ho Kean, our families beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog, age 11 years , 6 months, died today from lymphoma surrounded by her mom and dad. Heidi was rescued from a puppy mill where her life was destined to be a caged mother to an untold number of pups. Instead she had a full and happy life with her best friend Duke and her cousins, Sox, Roxie, Cosmo, Bella and Chi-chi. Heidi was a sweet, gentle dog who called attention everywhere she went. She loved car rides, eating, and when younger, romping and playing with Duke. Heidi was a special dog who will be missed by her family. There will never be another Heidi Ho.
