The first day we brought you home, you were so timid and scared

You were attached to my hip and full of fear

Soon you knew that you were home

You loved to go bye bye and greet everyone at the door

You loved to play with your squeaky toys and take naps in the chair

Every night you slept by my side

As time has passed

Your eyes grew tired and your legs became so weak

It was time to say goodbye

I couldn't watch you suffer anymore

I held you tight while you feel asleep

My eyes full of tears

You took your last breath and that broke my heart

Looking back now, I know that God put you here

One day I pray that we meet again
