BUDDY THOMAS

Our sweet Buddy gave us 13 years of the most joy-filled years we could have asked of him. We will
miss him so very much. He was perfect from the very first meeting on the Greenway where we first
saw him with the young couple trying to find him a home. He was 4 weeks old and they were taking
him for a walk. He was so tiny on the leash, but when they said "Sit, Bob" he immediately plopped his
tiny bottom on the sidewalk and looked up at us expectantly and I was lost in true puppy love. During
the next two weeks, before "Bob" was ready for a new home, Bill decided his new name was Buddy
and it truly was for he has been a Buddy to all in our family, and our Fur-son for the past 13 years.
He loved taking rides in the car and sitting next to me ANYWHERE lol even after he grew from his 10
pounds to his 55 pounds as a grown pup. He loved Christmas time. He always recognized his presents,
but would never try to open them early. On Christmas morning he was so excited and got to open his
presents first. He would go get his presents only and it was such a joy to watch him on Christmas
morning.
Buddy is survived by his human siblings: Nicole, Micah, Nathan, Leslie, Kristin and Brittany; his sad
human parents Bill and Brenda Thomas and many other sad friends and family.
