Belle was canine daughter to Tommy & Nicole Samuelson. Human siblings: Courtney Hawkins, Jessica Cain, Dakota Bishop and Dylan Bishop. Canine brother's Smokey & Butter Samuelson and sister (tho Belle didn't always want to admit it) Annie Samuelson. She was preceded in death by Simba Samuelson (b), Taz Samuelson (b).

Belle was born at Davis Branch Blue Ticks in Shelbyville, TN on Valentines Day 2012. The funny thing about Belle was that I didn't want my husband to get another dog, so I told him no when he asked. Unbeknownst to me, my husband took off with my youngest son, driving 2 hours to pick up this "hunting dog". Joke was on them because the moment she arrived she was attached to my hip. Hunting dog, I laughed, this dog is never leaving my house and she never did.

If God sends us animals I truly believe he picks them based on what we need. Belle was a challenge to say the least. She either loved you or just tolerated you, but if you were lucky enough that she did love you, you would NEVER find a more loyal companion.  Fiercely protective of her person and others she cared for and my shadow.

When I described Belle I always said, "She's me in dog form, a little crazy, demanding in her love, but loyal to a fault". She was one of a kind.

Belle loved her family, kids, jumping up in the bed to lay beside us, sleeping most of the day, being in charge, her chicken wrapped Oinkies, water, car rides, sunbathing and walks.

Belle was one of a kind and my best friend. There will never be an animal that could take her place in our hearts.
