Abbi
Montgomery
d. Aug 1, 2026
Abbi was born on December 17, 2020 and passed away August 1, 2026.
She came to us as a ball of energy wrapped up in a puppy's body. We fell in love with her immediately and everyone else did as soon as they met her. She was very smart for it did not take long for her to learn new things. She loved playing with her herding ball more than anything. She was easy to love and she loved back just as easy. The house is empty of her presence but our hearts are full of our love for her.
Until we meet again rest easy beautiful baby girl, we love you and will miss you always.
Abbi's Paws of Love...
the sound of tiny pats running across the floor, as they travel from door to door,
they come running to greet you with so much love, it's like a heartbeat from above,
their nails clicking on the hardwood floor, oh! one more time to hear them more,
knocking the ball under the chair, they lay down looking for it with a wanting stare,
feeling their tender touch as they are placed on your lap, stretched out on the couch as they are taking a nap,
you take a hold as they are reaching out for a friendly shake, there is nothing about their loyalty that is fake,
a touch on the leg to say "I am here", to let you know they are needing your care,
running after their favorite ball with so much energy and fun, they find complete satisfaction after they are done,
laying outside the bedroom door, making sure you are safe and secure,
running and barking as they go see what is outside, while you are putting your heart back inside,
carrying out the enforcement duties on the cat's wrong doing, they put an end to that!,
walking to the mailbox to get the mail, they sit patiently at the end of driveway waiting for that to be fulfilled,
they make the backside to wiggle, which brings a little giggle,
riding shotgun with head outside the window to smell the breeze, with it comes a slight sneeze.
they wait patiently at the table, hopeful for a tasty nibble,
they went peacefully to a better place, they will be seen again by God's amazing grace,
they are no longer here it brings tears to the eyes, our hope is they are running that rainbow bridge above the skies,
Abbi's paws of love will forever run in the heart, this kind of love will never depart
